Lurlean Williams

Lurlean Williams, 75, of Bryan, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Sherwood in Bryan. Services are set for 11 a.m. Friday, September 21, at Starlight Church of God in Christ, 307 Cypress St., in Jefferson, Texas. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 20, at All Families Mortuary, 109 N. Alamo Street, in Hearne.




Born to Nelson & Hattie Mae Lewis on April 1, 1937 in Jefferson, Texas, Marion County, Lurlean graduated from Judea School. She later earned her certification as a cosmetologist. She will be deeply missed.




She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Lorene Greene and Leila "Lovie" D. Lewis; and a brother, Nelson Lewis Jr.




Survivors include her daughter, Sonya Williams; four brothers, George Lewis Sr., Joe Lewis, Otis Lewis and Nathaniel Lewis; numerous nieces, nephews and other family.
