Beneralda Reyes Serna passed from this life on September 17, 2012. Visitation for Mrs. Serna will be on Thursday, September 20, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home in Hearne. Funeral services will be at First Baptist Church in Calvert Thursday, at 1 p.m.




Left to cherish Mrs. Serna's memory are her husband of 45 years, Jessie Serna; two sisters, Petra Trevino and Maria Gonzalez; and three brothers, Ventura Reyes, Aucencio Reyes and Edwardo Reyes; and the nephews and nieces that she cared for like her own children.
