Homero A. Rodriguez, 61, of Bryan passed peacefully from this life Tuesday, September 18, 2012.




Funeral services are set for 12 p.m. Saturday, September 22, in the Santa Teresa Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 21, with a 6 p.m. Rosary to be recited in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home.




Homero was born September 5, 1951 in Zacatecas, Mexico to Candido and Hermina (Alvarez) Rodriguez. He enjoyed watching all kinds of sports especially boxing and soccer. Homero loved spending time with his family and grandchildren, and was known to be very humorous.




He is preceded in death by his parents; and his precious daughter Maria Reyna Tristan.
Homero leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 39 years, Maria (Gonzales) Rodriguez; a son, Homero and his wife Claudia Rodriguez; two daughters ,Myra Rodriguez and spouse Ivan Garcia, and Aracely Rodriguez; and seven grandchildren Leslie, Bishop, Alex, Dallas, Alexa, and Ivan.
