Olive Louise Dows, 101, passed away peacefully Tuesday September 25 at St. Joseph Regional Health Center.




Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 28, at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday September 29, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in North Zulch. Interment will follow at Kurten Cemetery.




Olive was born October 1, 1910 in Cambridge, Massachusetts the daughter of John and Martha (Gervin) Anderson. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and the Mary Martha Guild.




Her husband, Parker Gordon Dows, Sr.; sons, Parker Jr. and Ronald Dows; and seven sisters and brothers precede Olive in death.




She is survived by her daughter, Madeline Klintworth of Bryan; sisters, Harriett Vineer and Bertha Berberck; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
