Betty Jane Burlin, 71, of Navasota passed away Thursday, September 27, 2012, at her home.




Visitation will be held Sunday, September 30, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Nobles Funeral Chapel with a prayer service at 7 p.m.




Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, October 1, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Navasota with the Rev. Donald Kasper officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery in Navasota.




Betty Jane was born on September 8, 1941, the daughter of Herbert William Eickenhorst and Thelma Finke.




She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Curtis Burlin; sisters, Carolyn Nobles and Terrie Eickenhorst and brother-in-law, Gordon Honeycutt




Mrs. Burlin is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Stacey Parker and Chad Ross of Navasota; son, G.W. Burlin of Navasota; sister, Debbie Honeycutt; brothers and sisters-in-law, Herbert and Mary Jo Eickenhorst of Navasota, Curtis and Doris Eickenhorst of Navasota and Larry and Liz Eickenhorst of Navasota and grandchild, Corey Ross.




Serving as pallbearers are Jason Eickenhorst of Virginia, Justin Eickenhorst of Navasota, John J. Flores of Navasota, J.D. Moody of Anderson, Todd Singletary of Madisonville and Mark Jackson of Navasota and honorary pallbearers Glenn Fuqua, Bill Bay, Skeeter Stolz, Pierce Key, Eddie Eppler, Roy Henderson, Bob Waltrip.




Memorial Contributions may be made to the Navasota ISD Education Foundation, Grimes County Go Texan or Trinity Lutheran Church.
