Virginia Lee Wager, 63, of College Station, passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday, October 30, 2012.




Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m., Saturday, November 3, 2012, at Bethel Lutheran Church in Bryan, with Pastor Randall Bard officiating. There will be a viewing at the church from 2 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Kurten Cemetery.




Virginia was born August 9, 1949, in Bryan, Texas, to Otto and Frieda Huff. She has lived here for her lifetime and was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church.




She was preceded in death by her son Jason Wager; brother Raymond Huff and his wife Eva; sister Joanie Schackelford and her husband Glen; and her parents.




Survivors include her husband of 42 years, J.C. Wager; son and daughter-in-law, Clinton and Heather Wager; daughters and sons-in-law, Christy and John Wager-Flowers, Jayme and Bryan Wager-Whitfield; brother and sister-in-law, David and Linda Huff; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy and Sam McAnally, Margaret and Billy Day, Flo and Horace Schaffer, Bobby and Ken Denmark; grandchildren, Cohen Flowers, Jordan Flowers, Payton Roberson, and Laynie Whitfield.




In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in her honor to the Virginia Wager Memorial Fund at any of the Bryan or College Station Prosperity Bank location.
