Ikie Mae Cashaw Cooper passed from this life Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Magnified Health Care in College Station, Texas. A memorial celebration of Ikie's life is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, located at 310 Martin Luther King, Jr. Street, Bryan, Texas. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.




Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, November 2, and Saturday, November 3, from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.
Ikie was born in Benchley, Texas to Effie and Wesley Cashaw, Sr. Ikie was a member of Friends Congregational Church (UCC) College Station, Texas. She was a faithful member until her health failed.




She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Louetta Cashaw and Cleola Morris; four brothers, Wesley Cashaw, Londell Cashaw, Clarence Cashaw and Jessie Cashaw.




Survivors include her sister, Estene Paulk; brothers, James "Jimmy" Cashaw (Sandra), Charles Cashaw (Rosie), Lorenza Cashaw; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.




The family request flowers and condolences be sent to Daniel & Son Funeral Home located at 401 West 18th Street, Bryan, Texas 77803.
