Jimmie Lee Taylor, 63, of Bryan, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Fortress Nursing Home.




Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, November 15, at Jones-Washington Mortuary. Services are set for 1 p.m. Friday, November 16, at Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. C.L. King, officiating. Interment will follow at Walker Settlement Cemetery.




Jimmie was born on June 12, 1949 in Wheelock, Texas to H.R. and Willie Mae Taylor. He graduated from Kemp High School. He was a member of Mount Nebo Baptist Church where he was a Deacon and Brotherhood President. He enjoyed his church and family.




His parents, three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.




Survivors include his wife: Pansy Taylor; sons, Michael Taylor and William Mitchell; daughters and son-n-law, Patricia Medina, Lashonda and Michael Davenport; brothers and-sisters-in-law, Issac and Mary Taylor, Rev. H R and Athelene Taylor; sisters, Rosie Ford, Ella Mae West, May Helen Johnson, Earnestine Jackson, Mattie Pearl Taylor; and eight grandchildren.
