Melvin Isaac, 64, of Madisonville passed away November 7, 2012 in Madison County. He was born June 20, 1948 in Walker County. Viewing will be held today from 11a.m. to 7p.m. in the State Room of Williams & Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Wesley Grove Baptist Church. Rev. S. Perry, Jr. will preside. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are:James Bookman, Willie Bookman, Frank Bookman, Jason McCoy, Marco Tennell, Marvin Cooper, Virice Davis and Carl Holmes. Melvin was a member of Wesley Grove Baptist Church. He was employeed for more than forty years with Nevill & Nevill Cattle Company.

Melvin is survived by his wife of forty years, Joyce Isaac of Madisonville, Texas; sons, James Bookman and Bobby Isaac both of Huntsville, Frank Bookman of San Antonio, Clifton Isaac of Los Angles, Calif., Willie Bookman of Bryan, and Kevin Isaac of Madisonville; daughters, Annie Fairbanks of Iola, and Melvina Isaac of Madisonville; brothers, Clinton Lee Isaac, Walter Isaac, Jr. & Eugene Isaac, all of Houston, and Raymond Isaac of Huntsville; sisters, Eva Mae Moten, Dorothy Cooper and Betty Boone, all of Houston, and Bobbie Dirden of Richards; aunt, Ola Mae Jefferson; of Houston; mother-in-law, Fannie Carson of Bryan; God-brother, William Neville and wife Elaine of Iola; eleven grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many, many friends.
