Christopher Lee Svatek

September 6, 1955 – November 26, 2012




Christopher Svatek, 57, of Bryan, passed away Monday, November 26, 2012 at St. Joseph Regional Hospital in Bryan. A memorial service will be held 9:00 a.m. Friday, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Bryan. Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan will be handling the services.




Christopher was born September 6, 1955 in Houston, to Victor and Ethelene Svatek. He attended Texas A&M University for three years before opening his own photography business. He spent the next thirty years photographing Aggie graduations and the Bonfire. Always an inquisitive man, Chris took a deep interest in the world around him and made many friends through his varied hobbies. He always saw the world through a unique lens.




He is survived by his parents; son, Jeffery and his wife Shannon Connally, and their daughter Samantha; daughters, Emily and her husband Brian Batchelor, Kathryn Svatek; and their mother Barbara Svatek; brothers, Victor L. Svatek and Douglas J. and his wife Lisa Svatek; and numerous nieces and nephews.
