Grace Harnisch Garcia

September 23, 1937 - November 25, 2012




Grace Harnisch Garcia went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 25, 2012. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 29, at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen. The family had a time of visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. Burial was at Killeen City Cemetery following the services.




Grace was born in Temple, September 23, 1937 to Willie M. and Annie Mae (Wald) Cooper. Grace retired from Killeen Independent School District and most recently resided in Burnet, Texas.




Grace was preceded in death by her parents; husband Marion Van Lee Sudderth, and husband Robert "Bobby" Harnisch; daughters, Debra Sue Weigant and Tericia Moore; grandson, Jared Benson; and her sister, Barbara "Bobbie" Murray.




Survivors include her son, Mike Harnisch and wife Tracey of Burnet; daughters, Anna Weigant of Plano and Betty Singleton of Huntsville; sister, Sylvia "Skeeter" Walker and husband Gene of Killeen; brother-in-law, Ken Murray of Killeen; grandchildren, Jimmy Benson, Bethany Ivy, Amy Bates, Gary Moore Jr., Wayne Singleton, Misty Parks, Frank Key, Remington Harnisch, Kristen Thelen, Kayla Yocum, Kaitlin Harnisch, Kinsey Harnisch, Kassidy Harnisch; 16 1/2 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson; and seven nieces and nephews.
