Debbie Wages 55, of College Station, was called home on Wednesday, December 5, 2012.
Memorial services celebrating her life is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, December 8, at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church on Krenek Tap Road across from Central Park in College Station.
She was born in Milwaukee, Wis., and met her husband William "Willy" Wages in Ohio while he was on leave from the army. They married June 5, 1976. Willy rejoined the army and she became an army wife from 1977-1988.
She and Willy lived in Bryan/College Station for 22 years. She worked for College Station Medical Center as a Patient Accounts Lead in the billing office for 21 years. She loved bowling, movies, and books.
She is remembered by her husband of 36 years, William "Willy" Wages; daughters and son-in-law, Laura Wedeking and Kara and Edward Wiede; five grandchildren, Harrison Wedeking, Simon Wedeking, Jeanette Wedeking, Alyn Wiede, and Fallon Wiede; her sister and brother-in-law, Suzanne and Barry Sharp; and also by the many friends she made here.
