Dorothy M. Walton, 79, of Bryan passed away Thursday, December 6, 2012 at St. Joseph Regional Health Center. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 11, at Jones-Washington Mortuary.




Services are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 12, at Galilee Baptist Church with Minister Terry Roberts, officiating. Interment will follow at Wixon Creek Cemetery.




Dorothy was born May 1, 2012 in Burleson County to Freeman and Mary Tate Seyphus and was a member of Brazos Valley Church Of God.




She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Marvin Walton, Sr.; two sons, Marvin Walton, Jr. and Quinton Walton.




Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Windom and Patricia Walton, Allister and Freddie Walton, Leroy and Vernell Walton, Roderick Walton, Paul and Rita Walton; daughters and sons-in-law, Marva and Anthony Williams, Johnnye Walton, Diana Nwankwo, Osborne and Darryl Allen, Winona Wilson; brother-and sister-in-law, William and Pauline Seyphus; thirty-one grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
