Peggy Jean (Bukowski) Bogan went to be with the Lord December 20, 2012 on her 83rd birthday.




Mass of Christian burial will be 1:00 p.m. Sunday December 23 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Msgr. John McCaffrey officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday with a rosary at 5:30 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.




Peggy was born December 20, 1929 the daughter of Joe and Evelyn (Elbrich) Bukowski. She was a lifelong resident of Bryan and attended St. Joseph Catholic School and graduated from S.F.A. High School. Peggy attended McKenzie-Baldwin Business College. She worked as a legal secretary for over 30 years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and shopping.




Peggy is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Ashley Akers.




She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Leonette Bogan; daughter and son-in-law, Michele and Calvin Akers all of Bryan; brother, Marvin Bukowski of Waco; four grandchildren, Brandon Bogan, Whitney Phillip, Thomas and Stacy Akers; four great-grandchildren, Kamryn, Jade, Jocelyn and Dylan; three nephews, one niece and Cindy Bogan Carter who was very dear to her.




Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or School.
