Christopher D. Monroe, 43, of Hearne passed away, Friday, Jan. 4, 2012. Visitation will be from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10 at Glenn Mack Funeral Home in Hearne.




Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 11, 2012 at St. Emanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Cedric Rouse officiating. Interment will follow to The Greater Riverside.




He was a star athlete for Cooper High. He enjoyed playing music, playing cards, cooking and making people laugh.




Survivors include his wife, Tina Monroe; two sons, Adrian Monroe of Bryan, Christopher D. Monroe Jr. of Houston; daughter, Kryston Monroe of Houston; his father, Joseph Wade of South Mrtyle Beach, SC.; sister, Toni and husband, Alvin Carelock; and two grandchildren.




Arrangements have been entrusted to Glenn Mack Funeral Home of Hearne.
