Patsy Ruth Carter, 75, passed away January 7, 2013 at St. Joseph Regional Health Center. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 12, at Zion Church of Kurten. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Interment will follow at Alexander Cemetery.
Patsy was born August 8, 1937 in Hope, AR to Clarence and Gladys Weakley. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed by numerous family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Kirby H. Carter; parents; and two baby girls.
Survivors include her daughter, Lindye Marino and husband Anthony of Bryan; son, Ron Carter and wife Sherry of Kurten; daughter, Janna Strickland and husband Mike of Kurten; and daughter, Lori Commander and husband Roger of Bryan; two granddaughters, Kristy Byer of Bryan and Kelly Marino of Bryan and numerous other grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; cousins, Bill and Kathy Adams and numerous other cousins; and her beloved cat, Cali.
