Janice Marie Carter, 46, of Hearne passed from this life on Monday, December 31, 2012.

A memorial service is set for 5 p.m. Saturday, January 12, in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home with Rev. Shirley Lane officiating.

Janice was born February 4, 1966 in Mabank, Texas to Billy Frank and Barbra Ann (Mitchell) Dean. She enjoyed putting on birthday parties and doing crafts. Being outdoors fishing and hunting were among her favorite things to do. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Billy Joe Carter; and a granddaughter, Lilly.

Janice leaves to cherish her memories, two sons and their wives, Wesley and Dana Carter, and Randy and Candice Carter; a daughter, Juanita Marie "Minnie" Carter; a brother, Earnest Tubbs; three sisters, Sandra Mitchell, Tina Tubbs, Joanne Tubbs; and six grandchildren.
