Mary Inman, 73, of Benchley, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, January 13, in her home.
Mary requested to be cremated and her remains scattered. Cremation arrangements are in the care of Callaway Jones Funeral Home and Crematory.
Mary was born to Albert and Gertie (Hair) McGough in Bryan. She completed school and married Leonard Inman in 1957. They were married in the Brazos County Court House. Afterwards she and Leonard moved to Florida where he was employed as a driver for Ryder. Mary went to work with King Edward Cigars Company, where she retired after 36 years of employment.
She and Leonard moved back to Bryan in 2000, where Leonard passed away unexpectedly in 2001. She loved visiting various casinos and playing bingo with her good friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents, her brothers and sisters Charlie, Albert, Geneva, Betty and Mildred.
Her survivors include her brothers, J. C. and wife Yvonne McGough, Louis and wife Polly McGough, all of Bryan, and Richard and wife Martha McGough, of Cleveland; her sister, Ruth and husband Bill Prueitt, of Bryan; numerous nieces and nephews.
