Tommy Lee Roy, 57, of Bryan, Texas passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013 at the College Station Medical Center.




Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, January 18, at Jones-Washington Mortuary. Services are set for 11 a.m. Saturday, January 19, at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Marie Nutall, officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.




Tommy was born in Bryan, June 4, 1955 to Eugene Roy and Irene Calhoun. He graduated from Bryan High School. Tommy was a member of New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church.




He enjoyed bowling, deer hunting and family gatherings. Tommy was a member of the Masonic Lodge.




Survivors include his wife, Genda J. Roy; son-and-daughter-in-law; Leon Dewayne and Yloanda Tates; daughter; Princess Rena Roy; brothers and sister--n-law; William Roy, Richard Roy, Alvin and Crissandra Calhoun; sisters and brother-in-law; Glenda D. Roy, Janet and James Teague; grandchildren; Jasmine Tates, Quinton Eugene Samuels,II, Leah Tates.
