Barbara Ann Knox

February 23, 1948 - January 13, 2013




Barbara Ann Knox, 64, of Bryan passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013 at St. Joseph Regional Health Center. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, January 18, 2013 at Jones-Washington Mortuary.




Services are set for 2 p.m. Saturday, January 19, at Galilee Baptist Church with Supt. Maurice Green, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.




Barbara Ann Johnson-Knox was born on February 23, 1948 in Bryan, Texas to Dan and Lucy Johnson. She graduated from E.A. Kemp High School. Barbara was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She enjoyed taking care of her family.




She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.




Survivors include her husband, John Jerome Knox; two sons, Darryl Hickman and Ashlyee Roliard, John Jerome Knox Jr. and Jannina Terrell; daughter and son-in-law, Demetris and Norris, Jr. McDaniel; brothers and sisters-in-law, Daniel and Beverly Johnson, James and Rhonda Johnson, Larry and Debbie Johnson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Daisy Green, Sandra and David Fletcher, Marilyn and Calvin Jackson; grandchildren, Jacord, Jamarius, Deandrea, Jaylah, Teana, Daryelle, John III; and great-grandchildren, Jordan and Jamiyah.
