Willie Maude "Biddie" Hodges, 80, of Bryan passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 15, 2013. Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Friday, January 18, in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home with the Rev Jim Stanton officiating. Burial will follow in the Clear Creek Cemetery in Leon County, Texas.




Visitation was from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 17, also in the Funeral Home Chapel.




Biddie was born March 3, 1932 in Scurry County, Texas to Hoyt James and Maudelee (Burnie) Jeter. She enjoyed plastic canvas needlecrafts and making plastic canvas clocks. Biddie also liked watching Wheel of Fortune with her granddaughter. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.




She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 44 years, Norman Hodges; stepfather, Bud Richards; a brother, Bobby Eugene Richards; sister, Emma Lee Lewis; great-granddaughter, Jillian Owens; and a special friend, Jackie Harper.




Biddie leaves to cherish her memories, five sons, Mickle Hodges and wife Pauline, Tommy Gene Hodges, James Lynn Hodges, Donald Ray Hodges, and Billy Frank Hodges and his wife Debbie and; four daughters and their spouses, Phyllis Hope and Dan Sheppard, Patricia Gail and Gary Jackson, Marilyn Nannette and Bill Crouch, Cheryl Kay and Charlie Collins; an adopted son, Bobby Harper and wife Linda; 20 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.




In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Brazos Valley in care of Willie Hodges.
