Frank Moreno, 58, formerly of Bryan, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013 surrounded by his family and loved ones in Houston, following a long illness. A celebration of his life will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 25, at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan.




Born in Bryan, Frank moved to Houston in 2010 to be near his family. Frank had a huge heart and was always there to lend a hand to anyone. He touched many lives with his kindness. He was passionate about cooking, grilling, music, playing dominoes and family get-togethers. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.




Frank was preceded in death by his grandparents, Maria and Guadalupe Sauceda, and Tomas and Facunda Moreno; brothers, Armando Sauceda and Steve Moreno; and a nephew, Francisco Moreno.




Survivors include his wife, Guadalupe Moreno; his stepchildren, James Cordero, Edward Cordero and Teresa Cordero; his mother, Rebecca Moreno; and father, Arthur Moreno; sisters, Yolanda Moreno Ramirez and Louis Jara, Diane Moreno Asher and Michael Smallwood, Anna Marie Sauceda and Dominic Pagliuso; nieces, Brianna Lee and Jordan Ramirez; nephews, Jeremy Garcia, Bradley Garcia, Cody Garcia, Timothy Garcia, Eddie Sauceda, Steve Sauceda and Zeke Sauceda; several cousins and other family and many friends.
