James Carter HIll Jr.

James Carter Hill, Jr. 68, of Bryan, passed away January 24, 2013 of natural causes. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the Cavitt Street Church of Christ, where he was a member for many years.



James was born in Dallas, Tx, the first child of James Carter Hill, Sr. and Patricia Suzanne Henry. He married Martha Bagby in 1964. He graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station in 1970. They settled in Bryan in Sept. of 1980



He is survived by two of his children Holly Hill, her husband Tom Columbus, of Irving, Tx, and Alan Hill and wife Melissa Bingham of Bryan, one brother, Grady Hill, of Terrel, Tx. He has seven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha, a son Andy, a granddaughter Madison, and his sister Patricia.



In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Forensic Anthropology Center at Texas State University c/o Sophia Mavroudas, Texas State University - San Marcos, 601 University Dr. San Marcos, Tx 78666, FACTS@txstate.edu where he has donated his body to science.
