Mable J. Clark, of Navasota, passed away February 1, 2013, at the Sheridan of Navasota. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, February 2, at Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station. Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Sunday, February 3, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Snook Cemetery.
Mable was born August 1, 1926 in Snook, to Henry Jakubik and Christine Orsak. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and will be missed by numerous family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Edwin J. Marek; second husband, Albert J. Clark; brothers, Leroy Jakubik and Hubert Jakubik; sister, Evelyn Sefcik; and 1 great-grandchild, Ashley Travis Nelson.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Edwin and Linda Marek of Anderson; daughter and son-in-law, Joanne L. and Charlie Chupik of Dripping Springs; sister, Mary Ann Vajdak of Snook; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
