Marcelene "Ann" Witte Mohr, 81, of College Station, is resting with her Lord in Heaven. Interment will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning, February 9 at College Station Memorial Cemetery, followed by a memorial service at 11:30 a.m. at Faith United Church of Christ in Bryan.

Born in League City, Texas, on January 2, 1932 to Elton Witte and Hettie Drake, Ann graduated from Anahuac High School and became a nurse. She married Arthur "Cotton" Mohr in 1955. The Mohr family moved to College Station in 1959. After a four-year job assignment in Guam, returned home in 1970.

She was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, a long-time member at Faith United Church of Christ, and a good friend to all. Ann will always be remembered for her compassionate nature and her warm, beautiful smile.

Ann has been greeted in heaven by her daughter, Faith; and brother, Elton "E.J.". She will be greatly missed and always loved by her surviving family; her husband, Art Mohr; siblings, Dorothy, Jo, Elaine & Buddy: daughters, Simon & Lori Cole; Alton & Sandy White; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews & friends.

The family thanks Hospice Brazos Valley and the nurses and aides of Unit 2 of St. Joseph Manor.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Brazos Valley or Faith United Church of Christ.
