Willie Louis Schulz Jr., 79, of Bryan, passed from this life peacefully Saturday, February 9, 2013. Graveside Services are set for 11 a.m. Monday, February 11, in the Peyton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, February 10, in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home.




Born in Burton, Texas January 2, 1934, he was the son of Willie Rudolph Schulz Sr. and Annie Lucille (Williams). He enjoyed spending time at the Brazos bottom watching the fields grow and the harvesting of the crops. He also loved tending to his cattle and tinkering with his tractors.




He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Frank Louis; two sisters, Stella and Mary; three brothers, Lawrence, Wilburn Lee, and Charlie; and a great-grandson, Justin.




He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 60 years, Dorothy A. Schulz; five sons and their spouses, Don and Debbie Schulz, Billy Schulz, John Wayne and Debbie Schulz, Mark and Jackie Schulz, and Gary Schulz; two daughters, Margie Hodges, and Debbie "Peanut" and her husband Douglas McBride; a brother, Leroy Schulz and his wife Charlene; six sisters, Dora Redden, Nelda Henninger, Betty Peters, JoAnn Holler, Linda Martinez, and Rosa Lee Ash; twelve grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.




In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Brazos Valley in his name. The family would like to thank nurse Janet Morello and Dr Juddi Yeh.
