Jessie H. Jackson, Jr. of Bryan, 77, passed away on February 6, 2013, at Magnified Nursing Home in College Station. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, February 11, at Jones-Washington Mortuary. Services are set for 1 p.m. Tuesday,



February 12, at New Testament Pentecostal Church with Apostle Milton Gooden, Jr., officiating. Interment will followat Oakwood Cemetery.




Jessie was born on March 09, 1935 in Madison County to Jessie H. Jackson, Sr and Elnora Foster Jackson. He graduated from Madison County School. He enjoyed dancing, dominos, and making people laugh.




He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Willie Beartice Jackson.




He is survived by his daughter, April Haven; brothers, Willie Jackson, Sr., Woodrow W. Jackson, Cleo Jackson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Gloria Wilson, Bettye Barham,




Thelma and Lee Stewart, Rose M. Lacy, Dora and Houston,Sr. Baily; grandchildren, Keyoshia Washington, Da'Payia Haven, Mac'Kavion Haven; and his special friend, Georgia Gibbs.
