Charles Ray Cooper

June 7, 1952 - February 6, 2013




Charles Ray Cooper 60 of Houston formerly of Bryan passed on February 6, 2013 at Methodist Hospital in Houston. A memorial service is set for 2 p.m. Saturday, February 16, in Ruby's Chapel at Jones-Washington Mortuary.




He was born June 7, 1952 in Bryan, Texas and graduated in 1980 from TSTI Technical School in Waco. He had a love for people and he never met a stranger. He was very artistic, talented, good with his hands and well liked by everyone he came in contact with. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and especially missed by his only sister, Emma "Muffie".




He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Vern Carrington; mother, Rosie Lee Cooper; grandmother, Limmie Lee Cooper; and brother, Robert Vern Cooper.




He leaves to cherish his memory, his sister, Emma Cooper-Thompson and AJ; niece, Rosie Nutall-Wright and Joseph, of San Antonio; great-niece and great-nephew, Alicia Shelton and Earl, of Fayetteville, North, Carolina, Joseph Wright, Jr. of San Antonio; great-great-niece and nephew, Taylor ant Tayvon Shelton of Fayetteville, North Carolina; along with a host of relatives and friends.
