Elnora Bynum

July 22, 1934 - February 13, 2013




Elnora Bynum, 78, of Bryan passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at his home. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 20, at Jones-Washington Mortuary.




Services are set for 12 p.m. Thursday, February 21, at Greater Salem Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Wilbert, officiating. Interment will follow at Wilson Chapel Cemetery.




Elnora was born on July 22, 1934 in Benchley to Will and Liddie Thornton. She was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church, Pastor Ural Green.




She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and six sisters.




Survivors include her husband, Willie Lee McMiller; son, Billy Wayne and Jannie Bynum; daughters. Rosie Thornton, Eunell and Michael Bisor, Jack and Ellen Thornton; ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren; and special friend, Ruby Devrow.
