Hugo Clemente Lostaunau
February 20, 1938 - February 19, 2013

Hugo Lostaunau, 74, entered into eternal rest before his family at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 19, at Hospice Brazos Valley Inpatient Facility. Arrangements are in the care of Callaway Jones Funeral Home and Crematory.

Hugo was born to Jose Enrique Lostaunau Talamantes and Maria Angelica Perez in Lima, Peru. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Hugo had touched in some small way throughout his memorable life. With his positive view of life and strong faith, he enveloped the younger generation with encouragement and motivation. As per these wishes and beliefs, his body has been given to medical science at Texas A&M University, in hopes of being part of a greater good in the future. He also enjoyed tending to his garden, participating at Santa Teresa Catholic Church, and watching his favorite sport futbol soccer.

He was preceded in death by his 5 year old son, Huguito Jose Enrique Lostaunau, his parents, and his sisters Anita, Clemen, and Elita.

His survivors included his beloved wife of 27 years, Leticia Susana Lostaunau; His daughters, Adriana Gonzalez and Candice Chambers; His Sons-in-law, Alejandro Gonzalez and Mickey Chambers; and his grandchildren, Jazzlyn Gonzalez, Enrique Gonzalez, and Tori Chambers.

In his final wishes, he asked that any memorial gifts be made in the form of a donation to Hospice Brazos Valley.
