Dolores "Mildred" Culver, 91, of Bryan passed from this life peacefully Saturday, March 2, 2013. Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Saturday, March 9, at Calvary Baptist Church in Bryan. Burial will follow at the Willow Hole Cemetery in North Zulch.




Born in North Zulch, Texas September 19, 1921, she was the daughter of Charles and Minnie May. She enjoyed entering sweepstake contest, and liked writing jingles while winning several contests. She attended Stephen F. Austin High School where she graduated in 1940.




She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harry Culver of 49 years; four sisters; and a special nephew, Travis Mathis.




She leaves to cherish her memories her son, Charles Culver and wife Judy; three nieces, and special niece & friend, Sarah Mathis, Mildred Kuykendoll, Johnnie Crouch and husband Joe; two grandchildren, Kathy and Richard Clack, Sherry Rosedahl and husband James; great-granddaughter, Brady Clack; great-grandson, William Rosedahl; numerous great-nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
