Funeral services for Marilyn Sue Foster, 67, of Milano, formerly of Houston, will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 1 p.m. in the Kathryn W. Green Chapel of Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Cameron with Minister Les Ferguson officiating.




Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 11, at the funeral home. Mrs. Foster, a strong woman, fought a courageous fight against ovarian cancer, passing away on March 6, 2013 in a Temple hospital.




Mrs. Foster was born on November 16, 1945 in Emporia, Kansas to Charles and Susie (Mast) Albin. She was a member of the Church of Christ and was an insurance adjustor. She was a loving mother and wife, an amazing grandmother and great-grandmother, and good friend to everyone. Mrs. Foster was a compassionate, sweet lady with a heart of gold. She had a good sense of humor and was funny. Her life was devoted to her family.




Survivors include her husband, Odes Foster of Milano; son, Odes Foster, Jr. and wife Tina of Milano; daughters, Lana Stinnett and companion Francisco Cavazos of Milano, Pam Shirley of Houston, Sherry Hughes and husband Peter of Houston and Diana Riche and husband Leonard, Jr. of Dayton; brother, Ernest Albin of Emporia, Kansas; sisters, Janie McInvale of Emporia, Kansas and Nora McKell of Utah; 19 grandchildren, Justin Dement, Colten Foster, Micah Foster, Aubrey Wilson, Jordan Dement, Kayle Foster, Daisy Wilson, Bailey Rutledge, Brooklyn Rutledge, Jerald Beaver, Jamie Stinnett, Susan Stinnett, Chip Foster, Kristin Hughes, Lauren Hughes, Austen Riche, Trevor Riche, Greyson Riche and Addyson Riche; and 12 great-grandchildren.
