James Earl Ephraim

April 1, 1940 - March 4, 2013




James Earl Ephraim, 72, of Franklin, passed away Monday, March 4, 2013 at the Dallas VA Hospital. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 8, at South New Hope Baptist Church in Franklin.




Services are set for 1 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at the church with the Rev. M.L. Henry officiating. Interment will follow and Franklin North & South Cemetery under the care and direction of Glenn Mack Funeral Home of Hearne.




James was born April 1, 1940 in Franklin to Albert & Mamie Ephraim. He enjoyed out door work and gardening.




His parents preceded him in death.




Survivors include his wife, Gloria Ephraim; daughters and sons-in-law, Carla & Henry Scott, Tracy & Travis Johnson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Melvin & Janice Ephraim, Jimmy & Betty Ephraim, Thalia & Mac Haynes, Mary & Ralph Young, Ruby Jewel Warren, Hazel Ephraim, Jo Ann Ephraim; grandchildren, Kyndal Washington, Christion Johnson, Terrance Ross Johnson, Christopher Wilks, Chirssenia Wilks.
