Jose Guadalupe Gomez Murillo, 89, of Bryan passed from this life peacefully Sunday, March 10, 2013. Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 13 at St. Teresa Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Bryan City Cemetery.




Visitation will be Tuesday, March 12 from 5 to 8p.m with a rosary to be recited at 6 p.m. in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home.




Born in Mexico, October 30, 1923 he was the son of Epifanio Gomez and Josefa Murillo. He enjoyed spending time with his family and playing his harmonica.




He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jose leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife; Juliana Gomez, eight sons; Jose Gomez, Guadalupe Gomez, Ezequiel Gomez, Raul Gomez, Ysidro Gomez, Enrique Gomez, Juan Gomez, Armondo Gomez; four daughters; Gloria Gomez, Carmen Gomez, Elana Gomez, Elvira Gomez; 74 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren.
