Mrs. Cecile Wagner McIntyre, 91, of Navasota passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013 at St. Joseph Regional Hospital. Visitation services will be held from 5-7 p.m, Tuesday, March 12th at Nobles Funeral Chapel. A recitation of the rosary will follow at 7p.m. A funeral mass is scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 13th at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Plantersville with the Rev. Ed Kucera officiating. The rite of committal will be held at 2:30 p.m. in Oakland Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.




Cecile was born on November 13, 1921, in Plantersville, Texas the daughter of Ignaz and Anna Mary (Metz) Wagner. Cecile married Bill McIntyre, III on July 14, 1940, in Plantersville, Texas.




Mrs. McIntyre was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill McIntyre, III; grandchild, Donald Kenny and twelve siblings.




She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Charlotte and Lloyd Johnson of Jacksonville, Florida and Jan and Guenter Walz of Munich, Germany; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Shirley McIntyre, IV of Dallas; sister-in-law, Laurie McIntyre of Conroe; seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.




The family would like to thank Cecile's caregivers and friends for their support during her illness.
