Lucille (Hemann) Abke, 82, of Navasota passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013 at the Sheridan of Navasota. A visitation will be held Thursday, March 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Nobles Funeral Chapel.




A prayer service will follow at 7 p.m. A funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, March 15, at Salem Lutheran Church with the Rev. Chris Richardson officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.




Lucille was born on April 25, 1930, in Grimes County, Texas the daughter of Erich and Hulda (Eickenhorst) Hemann. Lucille married Leibard Abke on April 29, 1950, in White Hall, Texas.




Mrs. Abke was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leonard Abke; son, Glenn Abke; sisters, Irene Puffer, Lillian Busse, Laverne Hemann and Lois Sossaman; and brothers, Norman Hemann and Onis Hemann.




She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Sechelski of Navasota; daughter-in-law, Donna Abke of Navasota; sister, Louise Jones of Waxahachie and grandchildren, Jennifer Abke, Cole Abke, Samantha Abke and D'Lynn Sechelski, all of Navasoa.




Pallbearers will be Johnny Ray Abke of Splendora, Loyd Finke of Navasota, Scott Jones of Waxahachie, Von Herring of Navasota, Don Jarvis of Navasota and Chris Finke of Navasota
