Ida B. Williams

August 11, 1917 - March 11, 2013




Ida R. Williams, 95, of Hearne, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013 at Memorial Hearmann Hospital in Houston. Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. for 11 a.m. Friday, March 15, at Glenn Mack Funeral Home of Hearne.




Services are set for 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Hearne with the Rev. Joe Montgomery officiating. Interment will follow in Greater Riverside Cemetery under the direction of Glenn Mack Funeral Home of Hearne.




Ida was born August 11, 1917 in Hearne to Sam and Mary (Tyler) Billings. He was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church of Hearne. She will be deeply missed.




Her parents preceded her in death.




Survivors include her sons, Charles Earl Williams, Melvin Eugene Williams and wife Beverly, and Bruce Williams; daughters, Eleanor Taylor and Willie, Billie Frances Williams, Hattie Mae Davis and Raymond, Thelma M. Williams and Hazel Toliver; 20 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
