Morris P. Endler Sr., 78, of Bryan, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2013. A time to visit with family will be Thursday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Hillier Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ray Marshall of Reliance Baptist Church in Bryan. Interment will follow at Kurten Cemetery in Bryan.




Morris was born in Kurten, Texas on July 25, 1934. He attended school in Kurten and Bryan. In 1971, he met and married Billie Jean Toomer. Morris was well known in the community for his work as a real estate agent, inspector and owner of Endler Home Inspections. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. Upon his retirement in 2008, he found great joy in spending time with his family and working on "his farm."




He was preceded in death by his parents, P. J. and Aline Endler.




Morris is survived by his wife, Billie Jean Endler of Kurten; sons, Phil Endler and wife Marla of Pearland, and Michael Endler of Tabor; stepson, Mike Watson and wife Sarah of Kosse; grandchildren, Jake Endler, Ashley Watson Ryan and husband Matthew, Jennifer Watson; brother, Hugo Endler and wife Ethel of Kurten; sister, Sheryl Molitor and husband Glen of Bryan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
