Our beloved wife, mom, granny, sister, aunt, cousin, co-worker, and friend went home to the waiting arms of Jesus on Saturday, March 23, 2013. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Friday, March 29 at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church Bryan, 3100 Cambridge Dr., with a reception to follow.




Brenda was born in Orange on September 19, 1945. She started school in Fred and graduated from high school in Conroe in 1964. She met and married the love of her life, Larry, while in college at Sam Houston State University, and then moved to Bryan in 1966. Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Lila B. Harvill.




Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Larry Pollock; daughter, Jill Budd and husband, Layne; son, John Pollock; granddaughter, Heather Harper and husband, AJ; grandsons, John Layne Budd, Matthew Budd, Zachary Pollock and Justin Pollock; great-grandsons, Nicholas Harper and Sean Harper; brother, Roger Harvill and wife, Brenda; sister-in-law, Mary Clem Stewart and husband, Bobby; niece, Janna Frazier and many beloved nieces and nephews, as well as many cousins and friends.




In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Church Bryan in Brenda's memory.
