Our Angel Bonnie Watson DeForrest of Bryan went to Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, April 10, 2013. Graveside Funeral Services are set for 11 a.m. Monday, April 15 in Wheat Cemetery in Brazos County. Visitation will be from 5-8p.m. Sunday, April 14 in the Chapel of Trevino- Smith Funeral Home.




Bonnie was a loving and wonderful wife, mother, sister, Nana, aunt, and friend to all. She touched so many lives.




Bonnie is the daughter of the late, Clifton and Marie Anderson of Houston, and the wife of the late, David DeForrest of Bryan.




She leaves behind the love of her life and best friend, Lonnie Carey who made her life and last days full of sunshine and joy; son, Michael and Annie Watson, and grandson, Gage of Houston; sister Shirley Konecny of Bryan; nephew, Shawn and Kandi Anderson; great nephews, Nicolas, Kristofer, and Jaycob of College Station; half brothers, Harmon Anderson of Crocket, and Bernice and Pat Anderson of Houston. Bonnie also has special extended family, Brian Carey, Tina, Candice, and Brittany Richards, and Josephine Griswold all of Bryan; Neal and Ollie Godwin and Martha Godwin of Nashville, Arkansas, and Ellen Pullen, Louise Langdon, Dawn Kehlenbrink, Mary Martin, Claude and Melissa Martin, Ruby Joy, and Scott and Donna Mareth.



Bonnie will always be remembered for her unwavering faith and devoted energy in serving others in need. Her hobby of collecting angels was a constant reminder for all that knew her in this life. Her motto "Do The Right Thing" will always live on in our memory.




Special thanks to all the staff at Hospice Brazos Valley, Dr. Thomas Weber and Dr. Richard Alford.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in her honor be made to Hospice Brazos Valley. Thanks again to everyone for all the loving and caring. Rest in Peace My Sissy.
