Mrs. Webb entered into Heaven on Sunday, April 14, 2013 after many years of declining health. She never lost her wonderful outlook on life. She always had a smile and a kind word for anyone around her.

She was born on September 20, 1924 to Maxie H. Hailey and Effie E. Craft Hailey in Tidwell Prairie, Texas, near Bremond. She was raised in Robertson County She married Willie J. (Dub) Webb on February 16, 1944. They lived in Houston for forty years before moving to Hearne in 1989.

Upon retirement, Margie and Dub spent many fun years camping as members of the "Go Slow" Camping Club and charter members of the "Slow Pokes" Good Sam Clubs.

She was a member of Grace Methodist Church and the Dorcas Sunday School Class. She enjoyed volunteering at Call for Help in Hearne and at Crestview Retirement Center in the Beauty Shop. She was a member of the Green Thumb Garden Club in Hearne.

In addition to her travels and camping, she also enjoyed sewing, needlecraft work, along with tending to her home and yard. Her greatest love was her family. She was always there to lend a hand, a smile, and words of encouragement and support.

Mrs. Webb is preceded in death by her parents and three sisters. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, W. J. Webb, in December of 1999.

Survivors include her daughter, Janis Webb Griffin of Pinehurst, Texas; and her son, Doug Webb of Hearne. Also surviving are her grandchildren and their spouses, Tiffney J. Johnson (Brian) of the Honduras; Glenn W. Griffin (Chrissy Lett) of Pinehurst; and Natalie A. Griffin Malicoate (Brandon) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, as well as nine great grandchildren. Other survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Jackie and Howard Vann of Bremond, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends and extended family. She was blessed to have a wonderful caregiver and friend, Gloria White, of Franklin, who was a part of our family.

Margie was one who demonstrated her faith daily in her life through the care, love, and support that she gave unendingly to those she knew and loved. She truly was a faithful servant who is now gone on to receive her crown in Glory.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to her Hospice Assistant, Pam Boyd and the staff of nurses at Hospice.
