Robert "Bob" Earl Stubblefield, Jr. was born on July 6, 1939 in McLean, Texas and passed away peacefully on April 15, 2013 in Bryan, Texas.
He grew up in McLean, graduated from Texas Tech University and attended Loyola Law School in New Orleans. He was a regional tax manager for Shell Oil Company. After his retirement, he was a tax consultant for Consolidation Coal Company. An avid outdoorsman, he loved to hunt and fish, and developed a talent for taxidermy. He enjoyed RV travel with his wife and dog, Two, spending many months in Colorado and Arizona. He embraced his artistic talent building elaborate dollhouses for his wife and granddaughters, and in recent years making beautiful silver jewelry.
He was preceded in death by his son, William Robert Stubblefield; parents, Evelyn Cline and Robert Earl Stubblefield, Sr.; his brother, Jerry Stubblefield; and sister, June Thomas.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Suzy, daughters and sons-in-law, Suzette and Chris Boyce, Cathy and Sam Humphreys, Allison and Mark Hollis, grandchildren, Kristyn, Robert and Taylor Humphreys; Clayton, Audry, and Clint Hollis; Kylie and Amy Boyce; sister, Donna Light, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 -7 PM Thursday, April 18 at Hillier Funeral Home, 2301 East 29th St., Bryan, TX. Services will be held Friday, April 19 at 10 AM at Hillier Funeral Home, with a graveside service at 2 PM at Klein Memorial Park, 32539 SH 249, Pinehurst, TX.

Bob loved a good joke and a good time. He wanted his epitaph to be, "He lived, he loved, he laughed, he cried, he died."
