Eloise (Brocksmith) Kindt

Eloise (Brocksmith) Kindt, 89, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 5 at St. Joseph Manor.




Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 10 at Bethel Lutheran Church, with Pastor Randall Bard officiating. Interment will follow at Kurten Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.




Eloise was born September 6, 1923 in Anderson, Texas, the daughter of Carl and Clara (Finke) Brocksmith. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in 1941. Eloise was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church and a charter member of St. Joseph Gold Medallion Club.




Eloise is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Louis L. Kindt; brother, Claude Brocksmith and sister, Artie Brocksmith.




She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Jones and Diane McDonald; sister, Ruth Sikorski; grandchildren, Karen Crouch, Michelle Wood, Michael Jones, Laurette McDonald and Ryan McDonald; great-grandchildren, Kathryn Crouch, Kristin Crouch, Quinn McDonald and Asher McDonald.




Pallbearers will be Artie Brocksmith, Robert Crouch, Doug Garrett, Michael Jones, Ryan McDonald and Larry West. Honorary pallbearers will be Gerry Carter and James Storrs.




The family request memorials may be made to Bethel Lutheran Church Building Fund, 4221 Boonville Road, Bryan, Texas 77802, or the Raynaud's Association, 11 Topstone Road, Redding, CT. 06996.




The family would also like to thank the Manor staff for the exceptional kind and loving care they provided to our mother.
