Rachel Ann Fields, 89, passed away Monday, June 17, at Crestview Retirement Community. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 21, at College Station Cemetery.




Rachel was born August 15, 1923 in Amarillo, the daughter of H.D. and Helen (Sullivan) Patterson. She was an active member of First Baptist Church in College Station.




Rachel is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lewis Fields.




Survivors include her children, Linda Fields Hargus and husband Stan of Seattle, Wash., and Frank Lewis Fields and wife, Betty of College Station; grandchildren, Kora Grant of Kerrville, Kevin Grant of Charleson, S.C., Aaron Grant of Ashville, N.C., and Mason Fields of San Marcos.
