Funeral Home: Legacy Funeral Home
July 26, 1980 - June 19, 2013
Jackie entered this life on July 26, 1980 in Houston, Texas and entered into rest on June 19, 2013 at the age of 32 years in San Diego, California.
She will be deeply missed by her husband, Durward B. Dunn IV; parents, J. B. and Martha Price; brother, Johnny Price (Corey); father & mother-in-law, Durward III & Cathy Dunn; sister-in-law, Steele Mumphrey (Nathan); brother-in-law, Bryan Dunn (Sarah); brother in-law, George Dunn (Laura); extended family and friends.
Jackie believed that she could accomplish whatever she put her mind to – with determination and hard work anything was possible, whether it be losing weight, organizing an event, or empowering others. She was avid about reaching out to others and inviting the un-invited to participate. She always looked out for those around her, and in her last act, she saved the lives of six people through the donation of seven of her organs. Jackie didn't do anything part-way and was passionate about all of her endeavors. To Jackie there were no strangers, only potential friends. Jackie understood God's love and shared it with everyone she met.
Visitation and funeral services will be Thursday, June 27, in College Station, Texas. Visitation hours will be from 1 to 3 p.m. with a service following at 3:00 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church. She will be laid to rest at 5 p.m. at Memorial Cemetery of College Station in the Aggie Field of Honor, 3800 Raymond Stotzer Parkway.
