Interment will follow at Memorial Cemetery of College Station.
Sydney was born in Bryan on September 16, 1996 to Stacy and Michelle Jeter. She grew up in College Station and attended A&M Consolidated High School. There are so many things that could describe Sydney as she wanted each day to be filled with something new and different. She was an exceptional student who took pride in her academics, ranking within the top 4 percent of her class. She was in the process of taking online classes and would have been entering and graduating as a senior this coming academic year. Her ultimate goal was to enter Texas A&M University the next year to complete her undergraduate and then enter Medical School as she wanted to serve people as a Physician. She never let these goals or plans keep her from living life. Those of you who knew Sydney knew she LIVED and ENJOYED life to the fullest every day. Sydney was an amazing athlete. She loved to not only play soccer, but to have people support and watch. The entire soccer community knows she never showed up to a soccer game without friends, family or both. She loved the outdoors from the beginning; as a tom girl who turned into the most beautiful young lady, so well rounded and always willing to try everything.
She loved the river, Garner State Park, the beach, fishing, and was the ultimate thrill rider at Six Flags. She enjoyed playing around and swimming with her friends, volunteering at the animal shelter, honoring her school as an executive member of the Health and Safety Committee for Student Council. The last several months of her life were spent hanging out with her dearest friends, taking dance lessons from her Grandfather with Blake, fishing and enjoying the outdoors with Cameron and Blake; but most importantly, she was studying the Bible with her family, Blake and the church. She loved Jesus and wanted to be his disciple and honor Him. God blessed her with peace and a loving nature. How do you describe the indescribable but in her own words as she recently wrote: "I believe that at the end of my life I will want to be remembered for my generosity, sincerity, helpfulness, my unconditional love and forgiveness for others. I want to be known for my faith and devotion to God, as a good wife, mother, friend, neighbor, sister and woman; knowledgeable, thoughtful and someone who gives good Godly advice."
Sydney is survived by her parents, Stacy and Michelle Jeter of College Station; a brother, Cameron Matthew Jeter of College Station; grandparents, Sammy and Karen Jeter of Pattison and Frenchie and Cheri Broussard of Madisonville; great-grandparents, Bill and Shirley Jeter of Madisonville, Kay Zihlman of Commerce; and numerous family and friends.
