Skip was born August 19, 1971 in Bryan, Texas to Herbert Legg Jr. and Loretta (Moore) Legg. He married Isela Lopez December 21, 2004 in Caldwell. He was a man of many hats. The first hat was that of a son, which he wore proudly, being that he was 3rd generation of his namesake. The second hat was, of a hard worker and Assistant Fire Chief of the Blackjack Volunteer Fire Department.
The hat that gave him the most joy was that of a husband and father. He loved his family dearly and they loved him back. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing, grilling or taking over the BBQ. He was not afraid of the dance floor either. He loved his dogs Napoleon "Lug head" and Tara. He also enjoyed target shooting with his kids and spending all his free time with his friends. He loved those quiet times sitting at the lake with Isela holding hands and looking at the water dreaming.
His grandparents, Herbert Legg Sr. and Ethyl Legg; dear friend, Margaret Flippin; and other close friends, preceded him in death.
Skip is survived by his loving family, his wife, Isela Legg; his parents Herbert and Loretta Legg, three sons, Dustin Legg, Johnathan Magallanes-Legg, Joseph Magallanes-Legg; five daughters, Susie Magallanes-Legg and husband Michael Ramirez, Brittany Magallanes-Legg and husband, Dylan Magnes, Sabrina Magallanes-Legg, Ashley Legg all of Caldwell, Texas, and Madison Legg of Kansas; four grandchildren, Makenzie, Mariah, and Memairy Ramirez, and Xavian Canto; a sister, Alicia Legg of Caldwell; also by his special brothers, Johnny Hutcheson, Tim Case, Patrick Jennings, David Lewis, Bryan Partee, and Daniel Brymer; special daughters, Corinda Young, Diana Najera, Caroline Vasquez; and special son, Danny Flores; and by numerous other relatives and many, many, friends and co-workers that loved him.
