Vance Jackson Beaudreau, 80, of Bryan, Texas, passed away, September 1, 2013. Funeral services will be held at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan, at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 7, 2013.
Vance was born February 6, 1933, to Ned and Thelma Beaudreau, in Big Spring, Texas, and raised in Corpus Christi. After graduating from Corpus Christi High School in 1950, he attended Southwest Texas State University, in San Marcos, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry.
Vance entered the U.S. Air Force in 1956. He attained the rank of First Lieutenant and was proud to have piloted an F-100a Tactical Fighter. After being honorably discharged from Service, Vance worked at many different jobs, including chemist, salesman, lumberjack, financial advisor, and paralegal.
Vance was active in several Churches as well as the Boy Scouts of America. Vance was a political activist and worked tirelessly to restore the Confederate States of America.
Vance was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Janet.
Survivors include his second wife, Faye Smith; four sons and a daughter, Kevin and wife Nikki, Scott and wife Angie, Jason and wife Tricia, Janae and husband Rory McClure, and David and wife Jennifer. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Aaron, Jackson, Chloe, Austin, Ainsley, Jonas, Caitlin, Ashley, Hannah, Griffin, Sadie, Lochlyn, McCaden, Kyle, and Abigail. Vance also leaves behind his sister, Marilyn McCool and husband Jack, as well as several nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Memorials may be sent to a favorite charity or Hospice Brazos Valley.
