Judy Goodrum Ferrell, 72, of North Zulch, passed away September 27th, 2013 in Bryan.




Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Tuesday October 1, at First Baptist Church of North Zulch, followed by graveside services at Willowhole Cemetery in North Zulch, Texas. Pastor Brandon Gray and Pastor Mitch Harper will officiate the services. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. for Monday, September 30, at Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville.




Judy was born on July 19, 1941, to Homer and Annie Goodrum of Madisonville. She lived in North Zulch for the past 50 years and was a member of First Baptist Church of North Zulch. A homemaker, she enjoyed cooking, walking, and time spent with her family and friends.




She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 44 years, James Mac Ferrell; two sisters, Wynona Manning and Edwina Simms and a brother, James Goodrum and his wife Bobbie.




She is survived by three children; sons, Maxie Ferrell and James H. Ferrell, both of North Zulch; a daughter, Julieanna F. McWhorter and husband Mark of North Zulch; six grandchildren, Darrek Ferrell and wife Lindsay, Maricia Ferrell, Matthew Ferrell, Mallorie Ferrell, Karley Ferrell and Baylee Ferrell; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and a sister-in-law.




Pallbearers are Pard Patterson, Gunner Patterson, Jacob Scott, Johnny Gierisch III, Billy Andrews and Tiff Hibbetts.
