Clara Olga (Chaloupka) Kramer, 82, left this world to go to her eternal home on October 29, 2013 at the College Station Medical Center. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., Saturday, November 2, 2013 at the Immanuel United Church of Christ, 9018 Church St., Needville, Texas 77461. The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m., at Immanuel United Church of Christ, under the direction of Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors, 1201 Fourth Street, Rosenberg, Texas 77471. Interment will follow at Needville Public Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ronald Kaulfus, Donald Kramer, Gary Kramer, Bobby Zwahr, Glenn Jalowy and Vernon Skotnik.
Clara was born June 24, 1931 in Temple, Texas, the daughter of Joe G. and Albina (Lesikar) Chaloupka. She attended Lost Prairie School in Ratibor, Texas near Temple. Clara married Edwin William Kramer, Sr. on June 20, 1954. They lived in Needville, Willis and College Station. Edwin preceded Clara in death on February 11, 2001.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William Chaloupka and Edward Chaloupka; sisters, Rose Wilde, Agnes Love, Lydia Foley, Mildred Chaloupka, Vlasta Machann and Adele Stephenson.
Survivors include her daughters, Dorothy Cupp & husband Ricky of College Station, Ruth Hardy & husband John of Gause; son, Edwin Kramer, Jr. & wife Natalie of Magnolia; grandson, Randy Cupp; granddaughters, Emily Stanton & husband Jacob, Courtney Kramer and Katelyn Kramer; sisters, Albina Dornhoefer and Marie Kaulfus, both of Temple; sisters-in-law, Dellarene Chaloupka of Rosebud and Adella Jalowy of Conroe.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Immanuel United Church of Christ in Needville, Texas.
